Digital Flotsam #1 – reissued

Play this show….

Unavailable since mid 2005, this is a re-mastered and reissued version of the very first Digital Flotsam.  I had a very different concept of the show when I started.  I thought it would be more of an eclectic variety show than what it has become.  I plan to re-release the first 3 Digital Flotsams over the next 3 weeks.  Here are the original “Show Notes” as well.

Digital Flotsam 01 – Show notes

1. Show Opening

2. The late Artie Shaw gives his thoughts on “Art”.

3. Editorial by P.W. Fenton on the sad state of “The Movies”.

4. A portion of “If I Didn’t Care” by the Ink Spots.

5. The wisdom of George Dubya accompanied by The Air Force Band.

6. Interview with Bruiser LaRue (Hudson & Landry)

7. Scene from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”

8. “Jacob Marley’s Chain” – Aimee Mann

Thanks P.W. The Movies piece was so on-the-button, it’s so frustrating to be forced to sit through the ads, same on DVDs. I miss George Dubya’s pearls-of-wisdom.
