On this day in 2005 Digital Flotsam was born. I published my very first podcast. I had produced 2 episodes of something I was hoping to pitch to public radio that was going to be called… “Oh Fortuna!” Then I discovered podcasting, and some of the Oh Fortuna! material became a large portion of Digital Flotsam’s first episode. The show has evolved a bit since that first effort, and it’s become more infrequent. But it’s three years old and still breathing.

It was a virtual (photoshop) cake. It never actually existed. So everyone’s teeth are safe (at least from that cake)
